Community Events & Outreach Coordinator
Occasional Staff, 4-5 hours/week average, 200 hours total

Cultivate: Local Food Connections is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a mission to strengthen our local food system with a focus on elevating small scale producers and regenerative farming practices. We do this through cultivating a community of engaged food citizens and by scaling up the structures that support our local food system as a whole.
The Community Events & Outreach Coordinator’s job duties include:
Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing Cultivate Your Plate (CYP) events
Promote events through posting fliers, listing on event websites and social media
Represent the organization by tabling community events; engaging participants and facilitating activities
Enter and manage survey data and follow up information collected at events
Support team efforts related to event sponsorship outreach, including identifying potential sponsors, assisting with communications, and tracking follow-up activities
Assist with logistics for Farm to Table for All program, including receiving, processing and delivering food and volunteer support
This role has flexible hours and activities such as CYP events and tabling may occur during normal business hours, after hours, or on weekends.
This role will be on a team with and report to the Program Director. The Cultivate staff is also supported by a volunteer board.
